Personal Details:
I enjoy watching films of all genres, particularly the works of filmmakers David Cronenburg and David Lynch. These have assisted and influenced me with my analytical studies and implementation of ideas for my degree course.
My passion for listening to varying types of music from heavy industrial and electronic through to punk bands via more classic heavy rock has influenced my thoughts and musical tastes. This has lead to me learning rhythm guitar & bass, writing my own material and building my own guitar.
During my time at university I served as the treasurer for the Musicians Society, assisting with organisation of events including several large rock concerts called Erocktion, helping set up equipment, organise bands on the day and DJ'ing at one of the venues I also DJ frequently at rock nights in Manchester.
I also acted as secretary of the Rock Society, with responsibility in organising and setting up smaller gigs as well as sourcing equipment for local bands to play. In another capacity, I participated in the student union elections committee, as part of a team organising and making decisions for the executive elections and assisting with the counting of the results.
More recently I have taken up Scuba diving and enjoy both its team based nature and also the excitement of seeing things from a different perspective.
